Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Double Navel.

Pain varies by person, but most clients describe Double Navel piercings as brief, moderate discomfort. Because two piercings are placed, total sensation may be slightly more than one. We use careful technique, optional numbing, and clear aftercare to minimize discomfort.

Healing commonly takes six to twelve months, depending on anatomy and care. Each piercing can heal at a different pace; follow saline soaks, avoid tight clothing, and monitor for signs of infection. Contact us if healing seems delayed or problem signs appear.

You can usually change jewelry after full healing, often between six and twelve months. Always have a professional assess fit and use implant-grade metals to prevent irritation. We offer swaps and sizing to ensure comfortable symmetry before changes.

Pregnancy and abdominal surgery can impact navel piercings. Many clients remove jewelry during later pregnancy or before surgery. Discuss plans with your piercer and healthcare provider; we can advise timing, temporary removal, and safe options to protect piercings.

Clean twice daily with sterile saline soaks or spray, avoid harsh soaps and alcohol, and keep clothing loose. Do not rotate jewelry or pick scabs. Follow our printed aftercare instructions and schedule follow-ups for any redness, swelling, or unusual discharge.

Avoid pools, hot tubs, lakes, and oceans for at least two to four weeks, preferably until early healing stages are clear. Chlorine and natural water introduce bacteria. After initial healing, clean thoroughly post-swim and consult us if unsure.
