Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Full Day Session.
Full Day Sessions are scheduled for seven to eight hours of tattooing time. Arrival, brief consultations, breaks, and aftercare are included in the booking; artists plan the day to maximize productive tattooing while keeping client comfort and skin health in mind.
Often yes—complex sleeves can be completed in a single full-day booking if size and detail allow. Large color or highly detailed pieces may require multiple sessions; your artist will assess the design and your skin’s response to determine realistic completion in one day.
Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and fed. Bring snacks, water, comfortable clothing that exposes the tattoo area, and entertainment. Avoid alcohol and sunburn beforehand. Follow any pre-session instructions from your artist for best results and to maximize your comfort during the long session.
Breaks are factored into the seven-to-eight hour booking. Expect short rest and hydration pauses every one to two hours and a longer meal break if needed. The artist coordinates timing to maintain skin condition and workflow while respecting your comfort.
Full Day Sessions are priced as a block rate or a guaranteed hourly minimum depending on the artist. Day bookings may include a pricing structure different from single-hour appointments; deposits secure the date and count toward the total cost.
Your artist will apply protective bandaging and walk you through a detailed aftercare plan. Expect daily cleaning, moisturizing, and avoiding submersion or direct sun for weeks. Healing large sessions can take longer; follow instructions closely and schedule any touch-ups as recommended.
